Protection and restitution of fauna species

The main directions in wildlife conservation are the following:

  • Reconstructing and protecting water relations
  • Protecting and re-naturalizing of water-peat bog ecosystems
  • Protection and restitution of endangered and dying out species.

Water relations are the most attractive value of the park . This area of seemingly excessive water supplies is actually characterised by high water shortage. Periodic water excess or shortage induced the users to regulate water relations, the effect of which was a significant natural increase in the slow rate of water circulation. In the park there is held an active peat bog conservation based on limiting the number of tree flora by logging.
